Jane Creasy
Jane has achieved recognition as a facilitator and designer of
conferences and leadership development events, but her background
is educational leadership. She specialises in supporting
organisations' leadership learning, policy development and
improvement.
Before becoming an independent facilitator and coach, Jane was a
director at The National College for School Leadership, having
previously been Principal of a mixed 11-18 comprehensive and media
specialist school for nearly ten years, during which time the
school gained national recognition.
Jane is now a designer and facilitator for a number of
leadership programmes; a regular facilitator for large-scale
conferences; and a leadership coach. She is a senior
associate of the Innovation Unit; and formerly an independent
adviser to the Department for Education on Creativity.
Internationally, her work has included work with New York City
and its 'iZone' network of schools, as part of the city's radical
reform agenda, and contributions to the Cisco/ Innovation Unit
Global Education Leaders Programme, which involves senior state and
national leaders from countries such as Finland, Brazil, India,
Australia, S.Korea and US among others.
As well as being a trustee of Centrepoint, Jane is a magistrate,
vice-chair of governors of the University of Bedfordshire and a
fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
