WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Stuart Rogers, Chief Resources Officer

Stuart joined Centrepoint as an interim director of fundraising in November 2003 to cover a recruitment period, and like all good interims, he is still here!

As chief resources officer his role is to maximise all available resources for the benefit of homeless young people through the management of IT, information, quality, HR, facilities and special projects. As you might expect, a lot of his improvement projects involve managing organisational change. He has overall responsibility for corporate assurance and risk management. Stuart is also responsible for fundraising, marketing and communications - areas of Centrepoint's work that are growing in relevance and importance to the organisation.

Stuart has an MA in Marketing and has a strong background in direct marketing and business development. His career has been mostly with American corporates including GE Capital and Cendant, working across the financial services, leisure and travel sectors. He spent a year working for an advertising and marketing agency, where his key account was UNICEF. Stuart has travelled the world in pursuit of business, leisure and voluntary projects, the latter being primarily working with refugees in Bosnia and Croatia. Outside of work, family, faith, and football regularly jostle for position. Stuart is chair of Bristol City Supporters Trust.
