An evening of jazz raised £2,300 for Centrepoint
Centrepoint supporters, top law firm Forsters LLP, hosted a not to be missed evening of jazz and raised over £2,300 for Centrepoint.
The night of fabulous swing jazz featured the magnificent ‘Any Swing Goes’ jazz band, and in doing so supported homeless young people at Centrepoint.
Around 150 guests attended the event donating £15 each to see the eighteen-piece big band from the heart of London play 1930’s and 40’s jazz classics and later styles of jazz swing. The band was accompanied by an amazing bag band vocal arrangement.
Head of fundraising at Centrepoint, John Raynham said:
“Forsters LLP has shown tremendous continued support to Centrepoint. From mentoring opportunities for Centrepoint young people, to flying through the air from a plane in sponsored sky dives! Everyone at Centrepoint is so grateful. The jazz night was a huge success and the money raised will have a positive direct impact on the hundreds of vulnerable young people we support each day”.
