After seeing the nail biting match, treading the ground at the half time call and then taking high tea with the Princes, Centrepoint CEO Seyi Obakin was offered a donation to Centrepoint’s work providing housing and support to homeless young people.

The proceeds of the day long tournament were donated to three charities including the first charity that Prince William became patron of; Centrepoint. Seyi Obakin and support and development worker Sarah Jeapes, and a young person receiving support from Centrepoint received the cheque for £17,500 on behalf of Centrepoint.

On receiving the cheque, Seyi said:

“On behalf of the all of the young people at Centrepoint, I would like to thank all of the sponsors of this event for this very generous donation. It will enable us to continue to provide much needed housing and support for around 800 homeless young people each day. I would especially like to thank Prince William for his continued support to Centrepoint."
