Christmas Carol singing in aid of Centrepoint
Centrepoint got into the festive spirit with a host of Christmas carol singing events to help raise vital funds for homeless young people this Christmas.
Friday 19th December was the “Pop Princess” concert featuring West End Actress and Royal Court Theatre Young Writer, Hayley Nolan accompanied by her Pop Princess Choir.
The concert was at St Giles in the Field Church, 60 St Giles High Street, just around the corner from Oxford Street. The performance included an assortment of traditional Christmas Carols and modern rock and pop Christmas anthems. The show was very colourful and lively, with stunning costumes donated by style experts at Goddiva.
This carol singing event with a modern rock twist helped everyone get into the Christmas spirit and at the same time raised essential funds for Centrepoint.
Another enjoyable and successful Christmas carol singing event in aid of Centrepoint was held at Trafalgar square earlier in December.
The event saw one of London’s leading choral groups, the Oriana Choir, donate their time to bring a bit of Christmas sparkle to Centrepoint, singing to help raise vital funds for homeless young people this Christmas.
On Thursday 11th December London's Oriana Choir, which has dazzled audiences at the Royal Albert Hall, St Paul's Cathedral, and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris performed for the public at London’s iconic Trafalgar Square. Not only did the choir bring a bit of festive cheer but they also helped raise over £500 for Centrepoint through public donations during their hour-long performance. The money raised will help Centrepoint support homeless young people this Christmas.
