Introduction to policy and research
We believe that young people have the right to participate in every aspect of social, economic and political life including the planning, design and delivery of services which affect them.
Our policy, research and external influencing work is focused on action at both national and local levels. We seek practical changes to public policies which reduce homelessness and enhance the life chances of young people.
Our work is rooted in the experiences of the young people who use our services, enabling us to be authoritative about the areas that really matter to them. We focus on five key themes: housing, learning and work, income, health and young people’s engagement with society.
