Are you worried about your health ?

A good place to start if you have questions about your health is the website of NHS Direct. Here you will find lots of useful information, and there is an option of reading this in different languages.

You can also ring NHS Direct on 0845 4647 for a nurse's advice 24 hours a day if you are feeling ill and are unsure what to do, or for health information on particular conditions such as allergies and diabetes. They can also tell you where to find your nearest doctor, pharmacist, dentist or support group.

To find the address of your nearest NHS hospital, doctor, dentist, sexual health clinic, etc. online click here and you will find out where they are. 

Connexions-direct.com is also a good website to look for information and advice on health matters.

Another good place to check out  if you want to learn more about general health matters is the BBC web-site.
