The South Pole Race is the most extreme endurance race in the world. Fifteen teams take on the ultimate survival test, traversing the world's largest ice cap in a gruelling 1000km race to the South Pole. 'Team Centrepoint' is rising to the challenge as a way of raising vital funds for Centrepoint aiming to raise £250,000 and drawing attention to the plight of homeless young people.

The South Pole Race is a race to the Geographic South Pole in Antarctica, across the world’s largest ice cap. After almost two weeks of intensive polar training in Antarctica covering approximately 200km, teams of 3 will set off across the Antarctic Plateau to race 1000km across the largest ice cap in the world to the geographic South Pole.
