There are a number of different ways to get involved with young people and assist the work here at Centrepoint. The following profiles describe the type of volunteering opportunities available and demonstrate what previous and current volunteers have achieved at Centrepoint.
Turner broadcasting gardening project

Vera Ion - volunteer learning worker
Vera Ion was a postgraduate from Romania studying at Goldsmiths University in London. Vera had an interest in youth homelessness.
Richard Wiggins - refugee support worker
Richard Wiggins is retired but volunteers for Centrepoint one day each week as a refugee support worker.
John Grisby - volunteer mentor
Having faced financial insecurity in the past and experienced some of the difficulties vulnerable, young people face each day, John was inspired to volunteer as a mentor.
Adeola Alabi - move on officer
Volunteering at Centrepoint allowed Adeola the chance to gain the necessary experience for her social work degree, while making a constructive difference in the lives of young people.
