Give homeless young people a future: Sleep Out!

Centrepoint houses and supports 830 homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25 every night.  Despite working in this field since 1969 there is no doubt that this is the harshest economic environment we have ever faced.

Over the past five years, hundreds of Centrepoint supporters have given up their bed for the night and taken part in the Sleep Out.  This year's event is at Old Spitalfields Market on the 11th of November 2010 where you will be joined by 450 Sleepers showing solidarity with some of the most marginalised people in society.

This event does not re-create homelessness, it is not a tough physical challenge, and we are not expecting you to take risks with your personal safety. We are asking you to put yourself through some discomfort on a working night and raise much needed funds for Centrepoint.  To enter as an individual Sleeper you are required to raise or donate £350.  Alternatively, if you can build a team of four or more Sleepers, entry is £250 per Sleeper.

Once you have registered on this site you will receive a registration form which you can email back to us and will be requested to set-up a fundraising page on Just Giving.  To complete registration Sleepers are requested to add a donation equivalent to 10% of their individual fundraising target.
