Give homeless young people a future: Sleep Out!

Centrepoint houses and supports 830 homeless young people between the ages of 16 and 25 every night.  Despite working in this field since 1969 there is no doubt that this is the harshest economic environment we have ever faced.

Over the past five years, hundreds of Centrepoint supporters have given up their bed for the night and taken part in the Sleep Out.  This year's event is at Old Spitalfields Market on the 12th of November 2009 where you will be joined by 450 Sleepers showing solidarity with some of the most marginalised people in society.

This event does not re-create homelessness, it is not a tough physical challenge, and we are not expecting you to take risks with your personal safety. We are asking you to put yourself through some discomfort on a working night and raise £500 for Centrepoint.

Each year Sleep Out kick starts Centrepoint's Countdown to Christmas appeal.
