Appeal update
Thanks to everyone who has already donated to our
Workwise appeal!
Our ongoing Workwise appeal will help young
people get work experience - and open doors to new career
paths
Workwise is a growing initiative that helps provide
homeless young people with work experience and placements in
organisations from Arsenal FC to Gap clothing. It also helps them
with vital careers skills like writing CVs, researching jobs and
interview technique.
The Workwise appeal will ensure we can help many
more homeless young people get on the fast track to employment,
independent living and a future free of homelessness.
If you haven't given already,
why not do so today?
Bursary success
Our Bursary Appeal also took place earlier in 2011 and far
exceeded its target of £54,779 - with donations totalling
£130,000!
Thanks to the generosity of Centrepoint donors, the
amount raised means that more young people are taking positive
action towards education and employment and that other vital areas
of our work will also receive a funding boost.

bursary helped Isaac, whose goal is to study biomedical science
at university, or
make a donation to Centrepoint's vital work with homeless young
people.
It's thanks to you!
In the past, some applications had to be declined due to
shortage of funds, but our donors' generosity means that
more young people like Carl, who you can read about here, are
well on their way to a positive independent life.
