WE'RE HERE TO HELP

Anita’s not applying for a work placement. She’s applying for a future.

Help a homeless young person find work.

It is a tragic truth that with no home, young people cannot find work. And without work, they cannot afford a home. Such is the cycle of poverty that exists in our society.

But Centrepoint’s Workwise scheme has the power to break that cycle and allow homeless young people to achieve their full potential.

By arranging work placements for our young people and teaching them valuable skills such as interview techniques and CV writing, as well as how to properly research companies and make the right career choices, we’re giving homeless young people the means to break free from their past and look to the future.

But we need your help. Like all our projects, Workwise can only exist thanks to the generosity of people just like you. That’s why we’re asking for your help.

All money raised by this appeal will go towards the Centrepoint Workwise scheme and providing other valuable services and support for homeless young people. We have changed the name of the law firm and the young person to protect the identity of our young people. However, the stories and all other elements are true.

Your gift could be used to help train a homeless young person how to write a CV or prepare for an interview. Valuable life skills that many of us take for granted but that are shamelessly out of reach for those who need them most. People like Anita, who are working with Centrepoint to break their cycle of poverty and homelessness.
