WHAT: Virgin London Marathon 2013

The perfect fundraiser for anyone inspired by Team GB! if you missed out on entering the ballot, we are now recruiting for our team.

After a record-breaking fundraising effort this year, we have a challenge ahead of us to beat £100,000 next year.

If you could pledge to raise at least £2,000 on top of the £150 registration fee, please get in touch with Beccy on events@centrepoint.org for more information.

As part of team Centrepoint at the 2013 Virgin London Marathon, we will support you throughout your marathon journey. Our support includes: 

Fundraising support

We provide a pack full of ideas to help you kick-start your fundraising. You will also be invited to visit one of our services to see first hand how your sponsorship will make a difference and you will receive ongoing support from our events team.

Training support

We provide tailored training advice and the change to attend a training workshop with our professional marathon trainers. Get help with our kit list, guidelines on eating right, how to prepare for race day and more!

On the day

You will receive a Centrepoint running vest to wear with pride on the big day and to help our team of loud Centrepoint cheerers along the route spot you to spur you on. After the race we hope you will join us at our exclusive post-race reception at the Trafalgar Hotel with well-earned refreshments and massage.

WHAT: British 10K London Run 2013

Join our team of more than 100 runners taking part in the iconic route that forms the UK’s leading 10km road race. With roads closed throughout the morning, it’s a chance to see the capital’s landmarks in a completely new way! Check out the route here.

Whether training for a longer challenge event, a complete beginner in road races or pushing yourself to beat a personal best, we would love for you to be part of our team.

In return for your fundraising efforts, we will support you all the way to race day with Centrepoint goodies and advice for training and fundraising. We will also be there cheering you along on the day and waiting to help you celebrate with an exclusive post-race reception after.

What: 100 mile cycle race

This 2013 cycle race is set to be an historic moment in the London events calendar and you could be part of our 75 strong team.

Experience London the way our Olympic champions know it! See the sites of the capital as you cycle the closed roads, before heading on to the challenging climbs of Surrey’s country hills and back to a finish at The Mall with a celebratory reception exclusively for our team members. What: Centrepoint’s sixth five-a-side tournament

After last year’s tournament seeing Latham & Watkins knock the reigning champions, Prêt a Manger out before storming to victory in a hard fought match against Centrepoint’s young people, our annual five-a-side trophy is once more up for grabs!  

Join other Centrepoint supporters challenging our young people to a match in their bid to win our coveted trophy. It’s a relaxed day with a great barbeque laid on.

Team entry for up to seven players is £650 with all proceeds going to support our work with young homeless people. There’s no cap on company teams, so why not challenge another department or take on your clients?

What: The Great North Run

Be one of the 50,000 runners that makes this the biggest and most iconic half marathon in the world.

Starting at Spital Tongues in Newcastle, the 13.1 mile route takes you over the famous Tyne Bridge, through Gateshead and on to South Shields via South Tyneside.

15 'Bands on the Run' will be stationed along the course to keep you motivated and entertained along the way.
