Volunteering
Volunteering - what does it mean to a homeless young person?
Before we try and convince you, listen to Rochelle talk about her mentor and the impact she's had on her life...
Convinced?
If you're looking to take on meaningful opportunities that have a positive impact on the lives of others, then join Centrepoint as a volunteer.
Our volunteers are a valuable source of additional support and make a positive contribution towards helping us to improve the lives of vulnerable young people.
Find out more below:
Mentors offer invaluable one-to-one support to Centrepoint young people on areas such as education, life skills and the working world. Through their own personal skills and knowledge, mentors empower Centrepoint young people and help them to succeed.

As well as providing accommodation to our young people, we run education, sports and cultural projects to develop skills to help them to reach their potential.
Volunteers have a range of office based roles including reception, administrative, research and project support.
Our events rely on the support of volunteers to make them a success. Help at Sleepout, our biggest event of the year, or at local events to raise awareness of homelessness.
Our corporate partnerships can be mutually beneficial relationships where our young people benefit and employees have the opportunity to work together as team towards a good cause.
Do you live in London and have a spare room? You could apply to be a 'host provider' as part of Centrepoint's supported lodgings scheme.
